September 2022 - First meeting at Trinity Lutheran Church; collection of Busy Boxes, catered chicken dinner, a word of inspiration to take members through the year, and the program on the Olive Branch ministry - Sew Powerful Purses Project. April 2022 - last meeting of the year: distribution of Busy Boxes; Teacher Enrichment Grant book sale; a rose for the past officers; installation of officers for the 2022-2024 biennium; a handmade bookmark for everyone and the reveal of secret sisters; and the program on the Lokota Friends Circle work with the Pine Ridge Reservation - our donations, gathered through the year, were presented after the program.
March 2022 - The Heinz History Center: tour of the Special Collections Gallery; catered meal and meeting - one of our favorite venues!

The centerpieces were comprised of materials for educators, new to the profession. We took enough materials to create the centerpieces and then some. Three people at each table got to take them back to a new educator in her community.
Melody has enjoyed singing in the state chorus the past couple of years. This is before the final rehearsal.

Phyllis, Barbara, and Melody enjoyed the Saturday night banquet. Barbara participated in the procession as our chapter president and received a red rose.
At the Celebration of Life Service on Sunday morning, candles were lit for those members we lost in the past year. Barbara lit one for Lois Crummie.
At the Sunday morning breakfast, the chorus split up to lead the blessing, sung by all in a round - twice (it was so beautiful).
At the Sunday morning assembly, the scholarships and enrichment grants were presented. Three of our members were worthy recipients. Phyllis put her grant toward a trip to Hawaii with her family.
Terry is applying her grant to her river cruise in Portugal.
And Barbara is spending hers on her cross-country road trip in her RV.

The banquet dessert said it all! Too perfect to eat!
Sunday morning, the Scholarship Committee recognized the scholarship and grant recipients. Melody's job was to hand out the roses.
